The 2012 Regional Sustainability Symposium will showcase new models of sustainability for businesses and communities, with an emphasis on practical approaches to realizing sustainable goals. The Symposium will conclude with an interactive community mapping exercise that will highlight the trade-offs needed to advance our businesses and communities in the current economy. This symposium will highlight how sustainable options – whether energy-saving retrofits in a small business or a riverfront greenway in a local town – are an investment that will improve the quality of life of all citizens and businesses for current and future generations.
