DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our 2nd Annual Founder's Day Black Tie Gala presented by Smithfield Foods at the historic Fair Barn in Pinehurst on Saturday evening\, March 29\, 2025.\n\nNew this year: dancing! Due to popular demand\, we will have dancing at the conclusion of the formal portion of the event.\n\nThe Gala will be held at the Fair Barn\, one of Pinehurst's most unique event venues\, and will bring together over 300 community members\, military leaders\, Veterans\, and their families. Last year we raised $33\,874.79!\n\n\n\nResources raised from our Gala will allow us to continue to meet the rising need in the Veteran community. We completed 40 home modification projects while also delivering home furnishings to 120 Veterans and their families across North Carolina. Stated differently\, both the demand for our services--requests were up 106% last year--and the cost of delivering those services are up--$1\,089.66 per ramp build and $1\,714.25 per furniture delivery--while monetary donations as well as donations of household furnishings have slipped. Our Veterans and their families need your support now more than ever.\n\nWe look forward to having you join us.
