Team member engagement is the emotional commitment people feel toward their organization and its goals. There are three types of team members: semi-engaged, engaged, and fully-engaged. We advocate for fully-engaged team members. Behavioral science research suggests fully-engaged teams sell more, provide better service, are more productive, are safer, make fewer mistakes and stay with their company longer. When team members are fully-engaged, they advocate for change and growth: the catalyst of a sustainable people and culture strategy. During this fireside chat, Michael Barbera will discuss the psychology of human engagement, decision-making and team building.
