Job Description: 

Full-time position
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience and/or certifications.

Under the supervision of an eyecare practitioner, the ophthalmic technician obtains data from patients and performs duties that assist doctors in the evaluation of patient eye problems. Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Documenting charts and accurate ICD-10 diagnosis coding, and billing charges. Prepares prescriptions and e-Rx for doctor’s signatures. Performs phone triage regarding refills of medication, work-in appointments or other questions patients have. Regular use Electronic Medical Records database. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent education/training. (Certification Preferred) Salary based on experience and certification.
