Reports to: Operations Manager/Program Director

Job Summary:
The Morning Show Co-Host will work directly with the Program Director (who is the other cohost). Together both Co-Hosts will create compelling on-air content that resonates with the core target demographic. On-air shifts, social media, live broadcasts, operating the control board, production work, personal appearances at station and community events, and remote broadcasts.


  • ·Must be able to play well with others. This is a 4-person show, that is also complemented with our veteran Sports and Radio meteorologist, along with other members of our local community).
  • Be able to generate and plan ahead ideas and content for a daily morning show.
  • Be able to execute those ideas on-air, social media, and a live video stream of the show.
  • Be able to run the board and be comfortable with getting the show in and out of breaks.
  • Be able to time out the show on the fly to make sure commercial breaks run as scheduled.
  • Be able to edit audio (Adobe Audition) quickly for on-air playback.
  • Live appearances and hosting for station events and remotes, concerts, charity events, etc.
  • Audio production capability to help out in production when necessary.
  • Being observant, aware, and involved with the local community activities and events is of high importance.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Live in the community we are serving, (which occasionally means being present in severe weather conditions)
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with WideOrbit, Adobe Audition & Adobe Premiere software, (along with other common Windows programs).
