5 Steps in 2022 to Maximize Your Chamber Membership

SOUTHERN PINES, NC - Are you taking full advantage of your Moore County Chamber membership?

Convener. Champion. Catalyst.  These three words describe our continued focus for 2022.  The Chamber can help you convene with others in the business and non-profit community.  We serve as a champion to ensure businesses of all sizes have a voice at the local, state, and federal level. Your Chamber also is a catalyst by providing the County’s first collaborative workspace space open to Chamber members daily.  So how else can you maximize your membership in the coming year?
#1: Increase Your Company’s Visibility
Depending on your Chamber membership, you have opportunities to increase your company’s exposure in 2022.
All memberships can take advantage of…
  • Advertising and sponsorship opportunities
  • Promoting your business through press releases and on our social media platforms
  • Updating your online business directory
  • A Chamber assisted ribbon cutting or welcome ceremony
  • Utilize the new collaborative workspace and conference room (based on availability)
#2: Make New Connections
Maximize your Chamber membership by making authentic connections in 2022 at events such as our new member socials, Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies, Business Book Club or through our training series.  These connections may generate new leads and referrals for your business, but it can also help you link with businesses that provide products and services that your company needs – or vice versa! Check out our online calendar to see what is coming up in the months ahead at www.moorecountychamber.com
#3: Get Your Employees Connected
Employee engagement is critical to the success of your business and can help them feel like they are making a significant contribution to your business or organization.  Connecting your staff into the Chamber can make a significant difference.  With your Chamber membership, your team can participate in Chamber events, programs, and other activities that we offer. Not only is it an effective way for your team members to build rapport within the local business community, but it also allows your business to take advantage of training and leadership development opportunities that we offer throughout the year.
#4: Community Involvement
Show that your business is active and giving back to the community by getting involved in a mission your company believes in. The Chamber can connect you with local organizations who are looking for help or you can get involved in one of our volunteer efforts.
Are you interested in supporting the local business community? As a Chamber member, you have the power to help influence change for the businesses in your community. Get involved in one of our committees or provide feedback on local, state, or federal legislation.
#5: Make the Chamber an Extension of Your Business
Running your business is more than a full-time job. With so much to do, it can be difficult to keep up with what is going on outside your business.  By reading our weekly e-newsletters, you can stay up to date on news, issues or events that are relevant to the Moore County community.
We also host programming on key issues such as our Economic Outlook or addressing issues such the current employee shortages, childcare concerns, and housing issues.  When you have questions or concerns related to your business, remember, your Chamber is here to support you and your team.
