Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Presents Awards for 2019

SOUTHERN PINES, NC – The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) recognized its 2019 Service Award recipients at the Staff Leadership Development Conference held at the Marriott in Winston-Salem, NC on April 15,2019. The Service Awards recognize those members in North Carolina and South Carolina who have achieved significant years of service in the chamber of commerce industry.
CACCE presents a certificate of service for each five-year increment of service. Service includes a combination of executive and/or staff employment time in all chambers of commerce. Jana Volitis, Director of Operations for the Moore County Chamber received her 5-year service award. Jana joined the Moore County Chamber in September of 2016 after previously working at the Schertz Chamber of Commerce in Schertz, Texas. Jana has become an indispensable member of the Chamber. She has continually sought out greater responsibility and was instrumental in the Chamber’s rebranding campaign which included a new logo and website. Since she was promoted to Director of Operations, she has streamlined processes and oversees several of the Chamber’s flagship programs and committees.

In addition to her 5-year service award, Jana was awarded an industry scholarship.
CACCE is the professional development organization dedicated to improving the educational opportunities for chamber of commerce executives and staff members in North Carolina and South Carolina. CACCE equips chamber of commerce professionals with leadership skills and tools to build innovative chambers. The organization was formed in 1994 when the North and South Carolina state chamber associations merged. The Moore County Chamber is a proud member of CACCE.
