Moore County Chamber of Commerce Announces New Team Member and Leadership Promotion

Moore County Chamber Announces New Team Member and Leadership Promotion

SOUTHERN PINES, NC – The Moore County Chamber of Commerce is strengthening its team and expanding its capacity to serve the business community with the addition of Jayden Gawronski as Marketing and Membership Experience Coordinator and the promotion of Jonathon Lewis to Director of Membership and Community Initiatives.    The announcements reflect the Chamber’s continued commitment to building meaningful relationships with its members, elevating the stories of local businesses, and creating new opportunities for connection and collaboration throughout Moore County.

“Today’s Chamber has to be more than a place to attend events or renew an annual investment,” said Linda Parsons, President and CEO of the Moore County Chamber of Commerce. “We have an opportunity to connect businesses to one another, bring people and ideas together, and help move our community forward. These team changes position us to be even more intentional about how we engage our members, communicate our impact, and serve as a resource for the business community.”

Jayden Gawronski Joins the Chamber Team

In her new role as Marketing and Membership Experience Coordinator, Gawronski will help strengthen the Chamber’s marketing, communications and storytelling while supporting a more intentional and engaging experience for its members. Working closely with Parsons and Lewis, she will help highlight the work of the Chamber and its partners, increase awareness of programs and initiatives, and find new ways to help local businesses share their own stories, successes and contributions to the community.

Outside of her professional work, she volunteers with the National Association of Companion Animal Rescues, reflecting a personal interest in giving back and staying connected to the community.

“We are excited to welcome Jayden to the team,” Parsons said. “There is tremendous opportunity to tell the story of Moore County’s business community in fresh and meaningful ways. Jayden will help us strengthen that voice while also looking at the experience people have when they engage with the Chamber. We want our members to feel connected, informed and part of something bigger.”

Jonathon Lewis Promoted to Director of Membership and Community Initiatives

Lewis’s promotion recognizes his leadership and the important role he plays in building relationships across the Chamber’s membership and the broader community.

As Director of Membership and Community Initiatives, Lewis will lead efforts to strengthen member relationships, support member growth and retention, and advance initiatives that connect businesses with opportunities to participate in the Chamber’s work. He will also oversee the Moore County Leadership Institute, helping cultivate informed, engaged leaders who contribute to the future of the region.  Finally, he is developing critical training programs for businesses and organizations of all sizes, increasing development opportunities for our community.

Lewis will supervise the Chamber’s membership and engagement functions, working alongside Gawronski to align relationship-building, communications, and member experience with the organization’s broader strategic priorities.

“Jonathon has a strong understanding of our members and the value of building relationships that extend beyond a single interaction,” Parsons said. “His expanded role allows us to build on that foundation, deepen engagement and be more proactive in connecting people with the resources, relationships and opportunities that help their businesses and our community thrive.”

Looking Ahead

Founded in 1967, the Moore County Chamber of Commerce represents more than 620 businesses and organizations employing more than 45,000 people. Guided by its mission to Foster a Vibrant Business Community, the Chamber serves as a convener, connector and catalyst for business success and community progress.  With these team changes, the Chamber is continuing to evolve how it delivers value, pairing strong relationships with more intentional communication, meaningful engagement and a broader focus on the issues and opportunities shaping Moore County’s future.

“Our business community is full of people doing remarkable things,” Parsons added. “Our job is to help bring those stories forward, create connections that make a difference and ensuring the Chamber continues to be a partner in Moore County’s success. I’m excited about what this team will accomplish together.”
