Unveiling the Dream Court

Nancy Lieberman Charities and the Town of Southern Pines to Unveil a Dream Court at Pool Park in Partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills
Ribbon-cutting ceremony and basketball clinic for local youth to be held on August 20th

What: Nancy Lieberman Charities has teamed up with the Town of Southern Pines and Boys & Girls Club of the Sandhills to present a new Dream Court™ to the community. The outdoor basketball court, which is located at Pool Park, will provide a safe place for youth to play, make friends and build positive relationships.

The Dream Court is high school regulation size, 50-by-84 feet, with two new basketball goals. It features a high-performance PowerGame™ surface from Sport Court in dark blue and steel blue, with the Dream Court logo as its centerpiece.

Nancy Lieberman Charities has donated over 130 Dream Courts throughout the U.S., to make basketball more accessible to children and provide a safe environment for them to play. Dream Courts serve over five million youth each year.

This Dream Court is in Honor of Robbie Callaway. During his 24-year career at Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), Robbie led an amazing Government Relations team which raised more than $1Billion for the local Clubs served by the organization. Robbie carries on his lifelong advocacy for disadvantaged children and families and continues to play a pivotal role in acquiring funding for worthy youth-serving organizations and the development and passage of national legislation critical to child safety. Nancy Lieberman Charities, the Town of Southern Pines and the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Sandhills are proud to donate hits Dream Court in his honor.

Following the ribbon cutting, local children will participate in a basketball clinic on the new court.
